When you just change the FOV of a game it will work with a jDome, but often you will lose HUD information, and thats where you come in - the Game Mod Guys (are there any girls?).
Basically it will suffice to move all HUD elements to a centered pretend 1/3 screen. Imagine that you split your screen in nine squares, then the center square represents the size of a normal monitor on your jDome screen. This also means that the HUD elements needs to be smaller in size as well.
I will fill this area with more information soon, but head over to the Forum to discuss this further!
And it is a bit from the side as it isn't an FPS but WoW! The mod is developed by Erik "Eoset" Sällström - one of the Dreamhack guys!
Eriks spontaneus response when he tested World of Warcraft with jDome was: "This is how I want to play WoW!" and started to hack away at a mod while we still were attending Dreamhack, which can be seen briefly in the new Dreamhack Video Report.
If you will attend Campus Party in Valencia, Spain - download the mod and install it and try out World of Warcraft with jDome using your own character!
Download version 1.2b of the World of Warcraft jDome MOD!
Check out some development images for the MOD in the Mod Gallery!
